About the resource
To use the Drawing Board component in Framer, you get full control over the interface with a set of UI toggles. There's a main “Hide All” switch to clear the entire UI in one click, plus individual toggles to show or hide specific parts like menus, toolbars, and panels—so you can keep it as minimal or detailed as you want.
You can also switch between light mode, dark mode, or let it follow your system settings with the theme selector. For keeping your drawings separate, there's an ID field—each board should have its own unique ID to save its state independently.
The background is customizable too. Use the default canvas background or enable custom mode to pick your own colors for both light and dark themes.
For colors, you’ve got 12 slots, and each one supports both light and dark mode variants. These are used for drawing tools, shapes, and UI elements—so you can match your brand colors or build a completely custom palette that works across themes.
